Multi award-winning plant-based Oumph! is continuing its expansion in the UK, with ASDA. Five Oumph! products are part of the initial launch, which will take place the week commencing 1st of July: Pulled Oumph!, Kebab Spiced, The Chunk, Thyme & Garlic and The Oumph! Burger.

ASDA is the first supermarket in the UK to launch The Oumph! Burger.
“The Oumph! Burger launched in the Nordic countries earlier this year, and off the back of that we immediately saw a huge consumer demand in the UK – it’s sure to be a plant-based favourite on the barbecue this summer”, continues Laura Weadock.
The inspiration for The Oumph! Burger was based on a juicy rare burger, but the difference is that the Oumph! Burger is made with entirely plant-based ingredients. Like all Oumph! products, The Oumph! Burger is made with soya beans, and the fine red colour comes from beetroot.
The Oumph! Burger weighs 113g, which is the equivalent of a Quarter Pounder.
Oumph! at ASDA
Oumph! is a favourite in Sweden and the Nordic countries. Oumph! is made from soya beans and organic herb and spice mixes. It’s plant-based and free from gluten and dairy.
Oumph! is versatile and easy to cook, which makes it suitable for home cooks as well as food services. It’s suitable to grill, boil, sauté, deep-fry or heat over an open fire.
In addition, Oumph! is high in protein and fibre and a source of iron and folic acid, as well has having a low climate impact.
Since its launch in Sweden and the Nordic countries in 2015 Oumph! has become a favourite with a wide audience, including families, millennials, foodies, chefs and fast-food loving flexitarians and vegans.
